Three strong reasons to support training Blog post
Sharpen the saw - great advice from Stephen Covey.
I see it as polishing your training diamond.
Save time and energy by becoming more efficient and effective as a professional trainer.
Most trainers know the how and what of training, but only some know the why.
The training image below clarifies what to expect on our train the trainer courses in London.
Being a trainer is a tough job. You spend endless time researching and preparing; nobody sees or values it.
Mostly, your classes go well, but occasionally they need amendments.
You need help putting your finger on why. In time, you'll work it out yourself.
But what if a trainer with 25 years of experience could save you five years and accelerate your personal development?
Going from good to great is primarily a mindset shift. It's the subtle focus of this course.
Meet your master trainer and founder, Vince Stevenson. Vince is an avid learner and, in recent years, has accomplished many certificates in Learning and Communication Science with the University of California, San Diego, and Instructional Design with the Institute of Adult Learning, Singapore. Vince is working on a Higher Education Certificate from Harvard as part of his lifelong learning motivation.
The College of Public Speaking promotes inclusivity, diversity, and equality.
Our three pillars of success are ensuring excellence through equality, diversity, and inclusion, achieving personal impact, and securing a sustainable future.
This is a creative class, so we support a state of psychological safety in the classroom so everybody is welcomed, accepted, acknowledged, and heard. Each individual's contribution is part of the rich tapestry of the course's input. Each speech has a collective impact.

Why the Advanced Training the Trainer Course can save you money and your reputation
A company puts itself at risk by lacking documented processes and procedures.
Inadequate communication and poor roles and responsibilities exacerbate matters.
If your company is heavily involved in health and safety activities, then lives matter.
Our Advanced Training the Trainer offering has been servicing the Health and Safety market since 2006.
The repercussions of not understanding or fulfilling H&S responsibilities are frightening both physically and mentally (for those who seek redress and those who defend the company’s actions)
Below are three true stories from recent students of where it went wrong.
An apprentice joiner from Glasgow forgot to put the guard down on an industrial saw.
The young man has limited movement in his mangled right arm which has changed his life and career options.
He had the option of filing a legal complaint with his company but chose not to.
I had a student who works in construction with a missing middle finger.
He lost it by not following the H&S protocols for moving heavy objects on trailers.
An aesthetic practitioner went home without putting the delivery of Botox in the refrigerator.
Thankfully, no patients suffered, but the surgery would have lost several thousand pounds if a senior had not intervened
H&S is one of the key issues in our courses, and we believe that prevention is always better than cure.
Tony demonstrates the value of his emergency kit and how to rescue a crane driver with a safety harness (otherwise known as 'the nappy').
