Toxic Goal #9 - I want to control the audience

I produced these videos after hundreds of hours of discussion with my students on my fear of public speaking course

If you think you can control the audience. Could I suggest that you are mistaken? You see, in the UK we have this thing called free will, and adults place a high value on it. They have the knowledge and experience to know if their time is well spent listening to you or anybody. The secret of getting them to want to stay is purely through engagement. What you're doing must be relevant to their needs and goals. Otherwise, it wastes their time.

Work hard. Stay on your theme. Keep them engaged.
